Check your province or territory
Rules such as minimum age, retail channels, public use, and local restrictions can depend on where you are. Choose the relevant province or territory government page before applying a number or exception. International border rules are separate
CBSA says transporting cannabis across the Canadian border in any form without a permit or exemption remains a serious offence, regardless of amount, medical document, or whether the other place has legalized cannabis. Its page also says only Health Canada may issue the relevant import/export authority. Keep cannabis within the applicable domestic jurisdiction; this summary does not clear any individual itinerary.
