Federal Overview (Cannabis Act)
- Legal nationwide for adults, with federal baseline rules for production, packaging, promotion, and possession in public (commonly up to 30 g of dried cannabis or equivalent; confirm provincial overlays).
- Medical cannabis access exists under the Cannabis Regulations (registration with a health care practitioner authorization; purchase from licensed sellers or personal/Designated Production registration).
